My father doesn't like cake. But as it was his birthday, cake and candles were mandatory. We celebrated by having dinner at Red Chilli, Manchester. The food was as good as ever (Red Chilli is wonderfully consistent) and the waiter initiated the birthday song whilst traipsing in with a fully lit cake! We are very blessed.
I really thank God for friends like Dr VG an amazing woman of God. We had dinner at Masala Zone at Earl's Court, shared what Jesus has been doing in our lives and gushed about mutual friends getting married! Dr VG tells me about a little toddler boy who is scared of all the other doctors in the paeds ward but is very fond of her. I am not surprised, Dr VG is a great paediatrician. She's petite, gentle, unintimidating and most of all, anointed by God to do good works.

We had lots of fun at Paradise Island Golf in the Trafford Centre. I'd definitely recommend it over a movie, especially if you're going with a group of people. Sure it's extremely cheesy but throw in a couple of friends with serious competitive streaks and you're good to go! All 18 holes took us just over an hour as we had to take turns. Prices were £5 for students and £6 for adults.
